Nordstrom recently wrapped up its big Anniversary sale, but you can still find some very nice end-of-summer savings if you’re willing to poke around its regular sale and clearance sections. There are comfy, casual sneakers, booties, and sandals to shop, plus fluffy slippers—so you can stay stylish whether you’re at home or out on the town.

You can save big on tons of shoes (and even activewear like breezy tees and leggings) at Zappos right now, but the retailer’s most exciting deals are on sneakers. For a plush yet supportive feel, consider Brooks’ Ariel GTS 23 or Asics’ GT-2000 12. Also worth noting: Reebok’s Nano X3 is a best-seller among gym goers, Veja’s V-90 is the chic shoe you need for all your weekend plans, and Hoka’s Speedgoat holds a Sneaker Award for its capable feel on off-road runs. And, if there’s room in your cart for something other than sneakers, Sorel’s slippers and Chelsea boots are perfect for fall.

Anyone who considers themselves a hiker, runner, or walker should swing by REI’s Labor Day sale: Select styles are 40% off and Outlet items are 50% off. Shop now to save on pairs from expert-approved brands like Oboz, Merrell, Salomon, and Saucony.

Here’s another chance to score some sneakers for much less than usual: In addition to Nike’s regular sale section, which is open to everyone, there’s a selection of styles that are an extra 20% off for members who use the code WINBIG at checkout.

Allbirds is the place to go for breezy, bouncy sneakers and slip-ons in cool colors. During the brand’s Labor Day sale, you can save 30% on said sneakers and slip-ons, including the Sneaker Award–winning Wool Runner 2.

Granted, Hoka’s sale section is on the smaller side—but those who like to spend their fall off-road on tough terrain will be pleased to see that some of the brand’s beloved hiking boots and trail shoes are on sale for up to 25% off.
